Well done team 👏 to the successful completion and delivery of two of the four LV Auxiliary buildings commissioned to Kilmarnock South battery storage project – BESS.
B&S are working with Omexom to supply substations for Zenobē BESS project as part of 3 battery storage facilities. The buildings delivered come equipped with 2MVA Cast Resin Transformer, a close-coupled 3200A LV switchboard featuring Mains/Generator Auto Transfer Switch, and @Schneider outgoing ACB’s/MCCB’s with smart monitoring/control. B&S has pre-installed all auxiliary systems, including lighting, air conditioning, dehumidification, and fire suppression, ensuring the buildings are ready as a turnkey solution.
Scottish and UK Governments aim to reduce carbon emissions to net-zero. Battery storage helps deploy renewable energy and provide stability services without fossil power stations. Fabulous to be part of this innovative project, progressing energy independence and a zero-carbon grid, National Grid.
