1989 - Founded
B&S was founded in 1989 by Steven Potts, under the trading name of B&S Design Services from his home in North Wales
1991 - Incorporation
Following significant growth, B&S was incorporated as a private limited company, B&S Design Services Ltd, and relocated to a manufacturing unit in North Wales
1998 - Acquisition, Expansion & Relocation
The acquisition of Hinton Deevex Ltd and relocation to Chester to a purpose built manufacturing unit facilitates continued expansion, future growth plans and provides B&S with a CNC sheet steel fabrication and powder coating plant
1999 - B&S Group Established
B&S Group of companies created, bringing together the business units under one brand
2001 – Acquisition
B&S continues its growth and expansion with the acquisition of a Contract Electronics Manufacturing Company, H&H Electronic Services Ltd, located in North Wales. The beginning for B&S Electronic Services Ltd
2008 – New Venture
B&S enters the e-commerce arena with the launch of Smart Power Shop

2010 – Business Unit Relocation
B&S Electronic Services Ltd relocated to the head office facility in Chester bringing all business units under one roof
2013 – Business Award
B&S is the proud winner of the prestigious High Sheriffs Award for Enterprise in Cheshire, highlighting the company’s outstanding achievements across a number of criteria including enterprise, innovation, responsible business practice, development and export
2016 – E-Commerce Acquisition
B&S acquires Eco Power Supplies, a leading e-commerce platform in the AC/DC UPS sector (www.ecopowersupplies.co.uk)
2019 – 30th Year Anniversary
B&S Group celebrates 30 years of service to the Power & Electronics industry
2019 – E-Commerce Acquisition
The acquisition of Audon Electronics Ltd adds significant value to our e-commerce platforms (www.audon.co.uk)
2022 - Management Buy-Out
Jason Wittenbrink becomes majority shareholder and Managing Director of B&S Group as part of a management buy-out, with Highwood Capital providing equity funding to support the acquisition.
