The company’s innovative approach to sustainable practices has earned them this notable accolade, highlighting their dedication to environmental responsibility within their industry.

“This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” said Jason Wittenbrink B&S Group. “Sustainability isn’t just a corporate initiative for us โ€“ it’s woven into everything we do. Being acknowledged at the High Sheriff Awards validates our approach and encourages us to push even further in our environmental commitments. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and excited about implementing even more sustainable solutions in the future.”

The High Sheriff Awards celebrate organisations making significant contributions to sustainability and environmental stewardship across the region. B&S Group’s runner-up position places them among the leading companies championing sustainable business practices. The achievement marks another milestone in B&S Group’s ongoing journey toward creating more environmentally conscious operations and solutions.

The entry criteria was to illustrate how B&S Group has achieved outstanding sustainable development and provide evidence of the benefits our interventions are providing. The focus of our entry was centred around the development of innovative modular structures that will house high-capacity electrical systems, including 8000 AMP bus bar systems, battery banks, and advanced control systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality upon on-site assembly. The traditional methods of constructing steel buildings on site and fitting them with the necessary technologies is not only time, labour and energy consuming but also impractical within the constraints of existing industrial environments, where space, time, and operational continuity are critical concerns. Weย are in continual development and working alongside major industries, developing modular carbon capture and storage (CCS) building solutions to enhance the deployment speed and operational efficiency of carbon capture systems within existing heavy industrial sites resulting in an de-risk energy efficient build and installation process.
